Terms & Conditions
The following Terms of Service (“Terms”) dictate permissible access and use of all services (“Services”) provided by BARNELL. BARNELL is a trademark of Limostyle BV.
1. With a written order for services (letter or e-mail), the customer enters into a binding agreement that includes these Terms.
2. Our terms of payments determine when the invoices are due for payment.
3. All invoices not paid by their due date will automatically and without prior notice incur late payment interest of one percent per month. Furthermore, in the event of total or partial non-payment of the invoice by its due date, the amount will automatically and without prior notice be increased by a fixed and irreducible indemnity of 20% of the unpaid balance, with a minimum of 100 EUR. Similarly, in the event of non-payment of an invoice by its due date, the company is authorized to immediately cease all its services to the client without prior notice. The client will be solely responsible for the consequences related to this cessation without any possible recourse against the company. Any complaint regarding the invoice must be sent to the company by registered mail within eight days of the invoice's dispatch. The invoice is deemed to be received within three working days of its issuance. After this receipt period, the invoice is irrefutably considered to be accepted. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of Brussels will have jurisdiction.
4. Booking of services:
- 4.1 A deposit may be requested according to the type and/or importance of the service provided
- 4.2 A credit card may be requested as a guarantee of payment
5. Services:
- 5.1 Services always begin from departure of garage (minimum 30 minutes before customer pick-up) and end at return to garage (minimum 30 minutes after customer drop-off).
- 5.2 Any additional half hour will be charged at hourly rates agreed between the parties knowing that every half hour started will be due in full.
- 5.3 In case of full day booking, a minimum of 8 hours of services and a meal for the driver(s) will be charged to the customer.
- 5.4 All ancillary expenses such as waiting time by the chauffeur (foreseen or not), meal costs (full day reservation), parking charges, toll expenses and hotel expenses will be charged to the customer as supplement.
- 5.5 The price presented at the time of booking confirmation is an initial estimate of the cost of the service ordered, and cannot represent the final amount invoiced. Waiting times, additional kilometers, additional stops, or any other service carried out by the driver at the customer's request and not provided for in the quote, will be invoiced additionally according to the established price lists.
- 5.6 A surcharge of 10% will be applied for any service performed between 08.00 pm and 08.00 am (night service).
- 5.7 A surcharge of 25% will be applied for any service performed during a public holiday (50% during Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve).
- 5.8 BARNELL reserve the right to subcontract the service to third-party companies assuring equal quality of service for the customer.
- 5.9 Airport pickups :
- We follow the evolution of commercial flights to assure the customer that the driver is always on site at the time of arrival of the aircraft
- 60 minutes of waiting are included in the flat rate of the service from the plane's landing. Waiting time will be charged if the waiting exceeds these 60 minutes, at hourly rate agreed between the parties knowing that every half hour started will be due in full. - 5.10 Private Jet Airport pickups :
- The drivers and vehicles will be on site 15 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time
- 30 minutes of waiting are included in the flat rate of the service from the scheduled pick-up time. Waiting time will be charged if the waiting exceeds these 30 minutes, at hourly rate agreed between the parties knowing that every half hour started will be due in full. - 5.11 Other location pickups :
- The drivers and vehicles will be on site 15 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time
- 15 minutes of waiting are included in the flat rate of the service from the scheduled pick-up time. Waiting time will be charged if the waiting exceeds these 15 minutes, at hourly rate agreed between the parties knowing that every half hour started will be due in full.
6. Cancellations (except special events):
- 6.1 Cancellations of sedan, limousine or minivan services (vehicles with less than 9 seats) :
- Cancellation at least 72 hours before the beginning of the service: no fees (except special conditions).
- Cancellation at least 24 hours before the beginning of the service: the customer will be charged up to 50% of the price for the full service agreed at the time of the order.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the beginning of the service: the customer will be charged 100% of the price for the full service agreed at the time of the order. - 6.2 Cancellations of coach services:
- Cancellation at least 21 days before the beginning of the service: no fees.
- Cancellation between 20 and 14 days before the beginning of the service: the customer will be charged up to 25% of the price for the full service agreed at the time of the order.
- Cancellation between 13 and 7 days before the beginning of the service: the customer will be charged up to 50% of the price for the full service agreed at the time of the order.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the beginning of the service: the customer will be charged 100% of the price for the full service agreed at the time of the order.
7. BARNELL shall not be liable in the event of damages (direct or indirect) caused to third parties by individuals transported in execution of the agreement.
8. Customers are solely responsible for all consequences resulting from transportation of their personal items, including payments of customs duties and any damage that BARNELL suffer due to the presence of illegal objects or possessions in the customers’ personal items.
9. In case of a dispute, only the courts of Brussels will be competent.
10. These terms are considered approved and accepted by BARNELL customers when they confirm a reservation.
